Holistic Empowerment Resources became a dream of mine after I experienced a lack of individualized education during my pregnancy. I recognized a need for all pregnant women to have trusted education about caring for themselves and their baby. I struggled with postpartum depression and anxiety, and after I sought treatment and began feeling more myself, my passion for starting this adventure took off! HOLISTIC: Treating you as a whole, unique person with individualized mental, emotional, social, and physical needs. EMPOWERMENT: Supporting and building each client up to feel cared for and able to advocate for themselves and their babies. RESOURCES: The many tools, techniques, and social services available to you. PERINATAL: Addressing your needs before conceiving, during pregnancy, while postpartum, and as parents. SUPPORT: Providing ongoing support groups and resources to clients throughout their parenthood journey. The mission here at HER Perinatal Support is to provide each client and their family with the knowledge, tips, and resources they need to thrive throughout their whole perinatal journey, from trying to conceive to parenthood.
